The Church of Madonna di San Benedetto rises on a small hill to south of the lived one, along a mulattiera that grafts on the ancient route Monteleone di Spoleto - Villa San Silvestro on the place of an ancient monastica cell been dependant on the abbey of S. Peter in Valley of Ferentillo.
Inside, in the sec. XIV entirely it was frescoed of votive pictures attributable to two various hands. Before it was painted the left wall and the inside of the facade (in the series of the votive ones are noticed, fragmentary, a figure of Saint Giovanni Evangelist discreetly conserved, a Madonna with Child, a s. Lorenzo martyr, Saint Benedetto and a Crucifix, to attribute to a circle of painters of the Valnerina who extended a tired tradition with the international Gothic for all the century). A second hand in the second half of the `400, very sensitive one to the art of Nicholas from Sienna, painted the right wall. Moreover, we find the Immaculate Conception and the SS Giovanni Batiste and Evangelist, canvas of Gaetano Lapis. On the wall of the altar, within a niche, we find a wooden statue of Madonna with the Child of the sec. XIV, partially repainted.
